At Two Wheels Good we believe in the importance of a great fitting bike, whether you are an elite racing cyclist or a leisure cyclist targeting your first sportive, a bike-fit can make all the difference.
Over recent years, there have been significant changes within the bicycle industry in the way manufacturers design and build their bikes, resulting in a wide range of available geometries to suit all shapes and sizes.
This means that with a good fit and our range of suppliers, we are able to provide a new bike that should fulfill all your needs. We are also able to set up your current bike to accomodate your optimium fit, which should both improve comfort and efficiency. We are fully accredited with the Trek Fit services Programme.
The bike-fit itself invariably takes between one and a half and two hours and will involve:
Firstly considering the rider, in a holistic way, taking into account; variations in anatomy, flexibility, range of movement, as well as riding style and riding aspirations. This information allows us to establish the rider's optimal riding position and make the bike fit the rider and not the other way around, through changes to things such as stem length, saddle position and height, shifter positioning, crank length and cleat positioning.
Any rider will benefit from a correctly fitted bike. It is particularly beneficial for road bike riders who may be tackling long distances, especially those who are returning to riding after a long lay off.
A standard fit session will cost £100 and you will have the undivided attention of one of our trained technicians.
Please contact Matthew at our Crouch End Store for further details.

In addition we are a certified LOOK KÉO FIT centre. This means we are trained in the use of Look's tool for optimal adjustment of your Kéo Cleats. The system helps you choose the correct cleat and determines your natural pedaling style and foot position. This will produce more efficient pedaling for more power transfer and limits the risks of knee injuries and tendinitis. The process takes around 30 minutes and costs £25.
